Write a rule set in the Issuer section. The screen beside the form prints the clauses of the group you are editing; the predicate under it is what the circuit checks.
Steps#
-
Name it. Holders see the name next to the rule set. Up to 100 characters.
-
Set the first group. Choose the regions, the minimum investor status, the minimum age and the screening window. Leave a condition off to not read that attribute; each group reads at least one.
-
Add OR groups if needed. Up to four groups. A holder passes by meeting any one group in full.
-
Choose the longest pass. Holders can prove for less. Shorter passes make holders prove more often; longer passes need a credential and screening that last as long.
-
Sign and create. Your wallet becomes the issuer. The rule set is public and fixed once created.

Pay for passes#
Every rule pass Writ records against a rule set, new or renewed, costs its issuer the pass fee, paid from the rule set's pass funds. Pass funds on the Issuer page lists each rule set's funds and how many passes they cover at the current fee; add funds there, or take unused funds back to your wallet with Withdraw. Pass funds are SOL the rule set holds above its rent, so any wallet can add them with an ordinary transfer to the rule set's address.
When a rule set's funds cannot cover the fee, holders see it before they prove, and their pass waits until you add funds. A holder is never charged the pass fee.
Changing a policy#
Rule sets do not change. To change who can hold an asset, write a new rule set and bind it to a new mint. Holders prove the new rule set from the same credential.
